Congratulations to Apollo client, Uptons Butchers. The award-winning Southampton butcher Simon Broadribb now has his fingers in a new pie; he'll be supplying the new Winchester restaurant from celebrity chef and food campaigner, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
The menu at River Cottage Canteen Winchester features local, seasonal fare from Hampshire's finest food producers. The Uptons team will supply the very best in high-welfare, premium meat and poultry from farmers across the county.
River Cottage Canteen Winchester joins Fearnley-Whittingstall's three other restaurants in the South West. Simon has been working with head chef Mark Price, who said: "It has been a wonderful job seeking out local producers for the new Canteen. Our door is always open to new suppliers that meet our ethos."
